Meeting Luke Marcou, who is quite possibly the sexiest man she’s ever laid eyes on, couldn’t have happened at a worse time. He’s exactly what she doesn’t need and everything she wants. Former SEAL Luke Marcou knows a thing or two about life-changing events. Part of a two-man sniper team, his career ended with a bang. Literally—a hail of fire and debris stole his perfect vision, leaving him broken and damaged. After months of feeling sorry for himself and struggling to find his place in the civilian world, he’s made his home at Triple Canopy. Those who can’t do teach, right? Cue the beautiful Shiloh Kent with her pastel blue eyes and wicked sense of humor. She’s looking to master her long-distance shooting skills—lucky for Shiloh, that’s one of Luke’s many specialties. Neither wants forever, but no one said they couldn’t have a little fun. That is until their hearts get intertwined. And suddenly, tangled morning-after sheets aren’t the only messy thing in their relationship. But forever might not be an option when the tables turn on Shiloh, and she finds herself in the hands of a killer.Book Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) Review :
Wow just wow! First off, Shiloh & Luke are hotter than a $2 pistol! Keep a glass of wine & a fan close by ladies!Secondly, I absolutely loved that Luke would not be intimate with Shiloh until she truly realized that she was it for him. He didn’t want her to confuse love with lust. He wanted her to be all in because he was already deeply in love with her. In fact he loved her so much that he thought to break every single one of her walls. No one else had ever been able to do that before. No matter how hard she tried to push him away emotionally and railed like a hurricane at times, he was her rock.I love that we continue to see glimpses & pieces of the lives of the characters in Riley‘s world. It feels like coming home. It’s a soft comfort to know that when I open a new book by Riley Edwards, I will be thrilled with a new storyline and overjoyed with snippets of favorite characters that feel like old friends. This book can be read as a standalone, but it is best enjoyed by reading the series in order.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I have also purchased a forever copy for my collection. As a huge fan of Riley’s stories, this one actually did not meet up to the hype. Unfortunately, it was the first book that I have ever had to close over halfway in. I know there will be a HEA. But. Shiloh was too whiny, IMO. It was just too much and her needing to continually try to freeze everyone out got old after the the third round of it. Luke was a bigger man than I am as a reader here. She pushed me away. It was just a bit over the top. (I have a personal tie to someone like Shiloh, who, unlike her nickname, Sunny, I ended up nicknaming this friend “Debby Downer”. She made our vacation all about her and had zero regards to our mutual friend who had become injured while on the trip. Totally selfish and whiny). But on the positive side. I did enjoy the initial meet and greet banter with the two characters. That intro is what got me ready to dive in. I was hoping the sassiness would have continued. (Her character was just so inconsistent throughout). The steamy scenes were pretty sizzly, too. But the in-between whiny stuff got old and annoying fast. After 3/4 into the book. I had to close it. *sigh. I just couldn’t finish it :-( Read Online Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) Download Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) PDF Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) Mobi Free Reading Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) Download Free Pdf Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) PDF Online Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) Mobi Online Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) Reading Online Imperfect (Triple Canopy Book 3) Read Online Riley Edwards Download Riley Edwards Riley Edwards PDF Riley Edwards Mobi Free Reading Riley Edwards Download Free Pdf Riley Edwards PDF Online Riley Edwards Mobi Online Riley Edwards Reading Online Riley EdwardsBest Tempting the Rancher By Brenda Jackson
